Fungsi Fuel Pump
Pada dasarnya, fungsi fuel pump pada sebuah kendaraan mobil adalah sebagai pemasok dari bahan bakar yang akan menuju ke sistem injeksi ataupun karburator. Pada kendaraan-kendaraan keluaran terdahulu, biasanya pompa bahan bakar mekanis digunakan untuk menyalurkan bahan bakar kendaraan yang bertekanan rendah menuju karburator. Namun pada mobil-mobil yang sudah menggunakan sistem injeksi, biasa sudah digunakan pompa bahan bakar jenis listrik agar didapatkan hasil bahan bakar yang bertekanan lebih tinggi sehingga kerja mobil bisa lebih efisien.
