Kegunaan Diaphragm Valve/Katup Diafragma
Katup diafragma (atau katup membran) terdiri dari badan katup dengan dua port atau lebih, diafragma, dan "bendung atau pelana" atau kursi tempat diafragma menutup katup. Tubuh katup dapat dibuat dari plastik, logam, kayu atau bahan lain tergantung pada penggunaan yang dimaksudkan. Awalnya, katup diafragma dikembangkan untuk digunakan dalam aplikasi industri dan/atau pipa-organ. Kemudian desain diadaptasi untuk digunakan dalam industri bio-farmasi dengan menggunakan bahan yang sesuai yang dapat menahan metode sanitasi dan sterilisasi.
